East Asian Studies needs a trailer!
The Office for the Dean of Arts and Humanities is sponsoring "Festival of Harvard Shorts" -- three minute digital movies on a variety of academic subjects, with prizes of up to $750. Further information will be available at www.harvardshorts.harvard.edu and at Twitter:#HarvardShorts
Direct and produce an EAS trailer and win $300!
As part of the Festival of Harvard Shorts, EAS will be offering a prize for the best trailer that relates to East Asian Studies at Harvard University. These trailers may be about the EAS concentration, any of our language programs; or composed around such questions as "Why study China?" "Why study Japanese" "Why concentrate in East Asian Studies?" etc.
Prizes will go to compelling 3-minute (or less) trailers that we (EALC/EAS) decide to use on our website- we may offer more than one award, so please feel free to send multiple submissions.
Rules are posted on the Harvard Shorts website. For consideration for the EAS/EALC prize please follow all rules for the Harvard shorts competition. Please email us at ealc @ fas.harvard.edu to tell us of your submission. Please include your full name, Harvard affiliation, and submission title in this email.
Good luck!
